Democracies Must Have Most Powerful Militaries
Powerful Militaries are Really Important for Democracies
The end of the Manila meeting between Modi and Trump a joint statement was issued that two of the worlds biggest democracies must have the strongest military for reasons that they are not destroyed.
The Manila conference of ASEAN countries led to a bilateral meeting between Modi and Trump. The meeting lasted 45 minutes and at the end of the meeting, a statement was issued. The statement is perhaps one of the most important documents ever to emerge in the recent past. The fact that it has been issued shows India is on board and the old passive and pacific policy of the Congress and Pandit Nehru have finally been junked into the sea.
The statement states that the worlds biggest democracies must have the worlds strongest military. This is indeed a significant statement and outlines that India along with America must and will dominate the world. The obvious danger is China which is like a bull in a China shop and must be not only contained but faced and defeated.
The military is the pivot of a nation's power and prestige and the US has now made it amply clear that it prefers India as a partner to dominate the world. This is a great thing and in due course, India will take its place as a powerful nation with global reach.Sadly, if the Congress party that governed India for most of the seven decades had thought along these lines, we would not be second to China.India reached the nadir of world prestige during the rule of Manmohan Singh the puppet of Sonia Gandhi.China has taken note of it.It cant feel happy about it, as a democratic alliance is built along with Japan and Australia against the totalitarian state of China.
