One can't imagine that Dubai was just a village, just a few decades back. However two things brought about the change. First was oil, the liquid gold and second was the foresight of the Maktoum family that rules Dubai. The vision of the ruler has transformed Dubai to a mega city, with entertainment to rival the best cities in the world.
Dubai is almost like a futuristic city and one of the places to visit is the International exhibition on the outskirts of the city. Getting there is no problem and one can take a taxi or a luxury coach of the Dubai
public transport. You can have a surprise for lovely rickshaws from good old UP are impoted for 6 months and they take you from the parking lots to the fates. The drivers from India earn much needed hard cash.The exhibition is a vast carnival spread over acres and acres. All countries have their stall and there are a host of cultural programs, dances, and stunts. When I
go there I invariably watch the crash race of cars and bikes. It's lovely as the bikes and cars race playing a game of robbers being chased by the police.This is not all there are lovely dances and you can watch Russian girls dancing as well as local Arabs doing the stick dance. They had performed even before Trump on his visit to Arabia.
You can shop your hearts content and eat exotic foods from all corners of the world. Great bargains are available and with girls coming from places like Uzbekistan and Mongolia , can lead to an exotic relationship. Remember faint heart never won fair woman.
Time goes like a breeze here and even at midnight the place is exotic. It reminds you of a Fairy Tale place and one can let ones hair down and spend a lovely day.
